HUDSON VALLEY OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

Natural Splendor Awaits...

Our area is world renowned for both its magnificent rugged beauty and the opportunities it affords hikers, bikers, kayakers, and even scuba divers. Only minutes away are two of the most gorgeous state parks in the country: Mohonk and Minnewaska preserves. Each is recognized as a world-class mecca of rock climbing, and is beloved by hikers, cyslists, and nature lovers in general for their pristine emerald green lakes, carriage roads, mountain biking trails, and scenic overlooks that hikers for centuries have extolled.

Audrey’s offers easy access to bike and kayak rentals, gear for rock climbing. mountain biking and skiing. Many area golf courses are open to the public, as well as sky diving, and cycling on the area Rail Trail.

Another exciting activity is the all-new Walkway Over the Hudson, which is now a New York State Park. On Saturday, October 3, 2009 the Walkway opened to the public to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Hudson River Valley. Read below.
